. Explore the relationship between photography and writing, image and text, and experiment with the textualization of images.
. Writing in Italian: three 4-hour workshops
Materials required: a childhood photo, a small object to which the participant is particularly attached. In all our writing workshops, we’ll use guide words to help you find a common thread in your story.
PROGRAM
DAY 1
Arrival at La Corte degli Ulivi accommodation (from 2 p.m.)
6 p.m.: meeting with Massimiliano, presentation of the program, elements of theory, examples of photographers’ travel journals

Welcome aperitif and dinner at the hotel
DAY 2
Visit Bosa, one of Italy’s most beautiful villages, and discover its winding lanes, pastel-colored houses, the banks of the Temo River and the natural pools of Canu Malu.
Free lunch in Bosa
4:00 pm Photo workshop: selection and analysis of images (3 hours)

DAY 3
9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Writing workshop: during the first meeting, we’ll think of writing as a journey, an experience together outside and inside ourselves. If images can render what we see – what appears – writing will have the task of uniting and bearing witness to what doesn’t appear, what remains invisible to lenses and framing. During this meeting, a travel diary will be handed out, and will be finalized together at the last meeting.
Light lunch at Santa Caterina di Pittinuri
Visit the archaeological site of Tharros, dating from the 8th century B.C., where you’ll also find an early Christian basilica dating from 470 A.D. We continue our walk along Capo San Marco, reaching the lighthouse on paths that follow the coastline. Swimming, weather permitting!

DAY 4
9 a.m. to 12 p.m. photo workshop: selection and analysis of photos taken
Lunch on the beach (lunch light box)
We’ll take a photographic walk along the Tresnuraghes coastline, a scenic route from the Ischia Ruja Tower to the Torolo cove,
From north to south, we can observe the tower of Punta Foghe, S’Iscra Ruja, Columbargia, Isola Rossa and Argentina, the ancient towers that until the mid-19th century formed the protection system for the coastal Planargia territory and still embellish today a landscape characterized by high cliffs, rocky coves sheltered from the prevailing mistral winds, stopover at the country church of San Marco.
6 p.m. Photo workshop: analysis and discussion of photos
Dinner on your own
DAY 5
9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The second meeting will focus on poetic writing: poetry of the image, poetry beyond the image. Exploring places in search of elements of reality capable of telling a personal story. We’ll try to render part of the experience in poetic form.

3 to 6 p.m. Photo workshop
7pm Visit to a winery in Magomadas, local wine tasting

DAY 6
9 to 11 a.m. photo workshop: selection and analysis of photos taken
Lunch at Paulilatino
Visit to the archaeological site of Santa Cristina to admire the fascinating sacred well dating back to the 18th century. Visit the Losa nuraghe, one of the most famous testimonies of the Nuragic civilization;
6 p.m. Photo workshop: analysis and discussion of photos
DAY 7
9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Photo workshop
Lunch at hotel
3pm to 7pm Writing workshop: discussion and feedback on completed works. Participants will share their texts. Finally, there will be a small analog photo retouching workshop, and a travel journal assembly. Visualization and layout of “travel logs
